Received a e-mail news from Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation and, after writing to Leo & Co our plan to do green - here its posted on Kalos Fund, - I found then other interesting website - AskNature - and posted quick strategy there - to add ours best! Here below a copy of that - in case its not gonna be approved. Surely I have to share something - as a family person who had to live in a nature with minimum "modern comforts"... - the issue is how to get out from me the most precious and needed for the others... Trying to do the best - my modest promise.
Know the needs of trees by running the "Calendar of Fallen Leaves Colors"
“Classic” way of learning the life of plants and tree cycles is too long and complicated in a terms of current everyday common human damage, so new forms of being close enough to help to our green bros-souls are highly awaited. Yearly-circled photo chronicle of fallen leaves of defined trees – now its tree of Rudraksha from Elaeocarpus genus – shows all main processes and basic “mood of tree”. Deeper and longer research revealing periodic occurrences of heart-formed leaves, leaves with symmetric spots and other beautiful phenomena, which attracts the attention of children and sensitive people – as extra effect.
Running this chronicle also creating natural way of observing nature “step by step”, with touch of necessary discipline and big portion of enthusiasm. Advice both to expert-botanists and their city-fellows Eco-newbies. The leaf-color circle with combination of water and different phases of light (in various Sun & Moon phases) giving also new perspectives to see the land in whole as a complex, all that however require more time to estimate its value. Current research with additional color circle of fallen leaves posted in a form of photo & video gallery and lasts for 9 month. This is 3-rd tree type and chronicle, the main definitions from which we'll post on a news feed of Kalos Eco.
